Töölö Campus is now known as Aalto University Töölö
Designed by Woldemar Baeckman and Hugo Harmia, the building was constructed on Runeberginkatu in Helsinki in 1950. The renovation of the property started in May 2019 and the work will be finished by the end of 2020. The renovation and modernisation plan is based on negotiations with the Finnish Heritage Agency and room-specific surveys, as the building is part of the Docomomo International Register, which specialises in the documentation and conservation of modern architecture.
The property is fitted with ESC-200, a large-scale, modern bus-based emergency lighting system. Electrical installation was completed by Caverion Suomi Oy.
